It's Bigger Than You and Monsoon Dance have teamed up to offer flashmobs that are choreographed and organized by children themselves.

A flashmob is a social activity in which people “gather incognito at the pre-selected time and location, suddenly break into song, dance or some other surprising and clever activity, and then disband and blend back into the crowd.” Flashmobs are spontaneous, collaborative, and most of of all, fun!

Flashmobs give children the opportunity to use their creativity and organizational skills to execute their ideas. Children involved in the flashmobs will have the opportunity to work on their leadership, self-confidence, and creativity.

Working side by side in collaboration to plan, orchestrate, and practice each dance, the children are the core of the program. Learning teamwork, leadership, and patience with each event, the flashmob series are invaluable experience for not only the children, but everyone involved.
