Mayur Performance Team - Dance for a Cause

Mayur, a Peacock, dances in the Monsoon representing the intense euphoria almost to the point of madness that it experiences at the onset of the rains on parched land. Our students gain additional performance experience, build confidence, and learn different dance forms, all while they serve the community.

Our adults dance team participates in special events around the city. These are Indian and/or local community events, business events, game halftime, public concerts, cultural events, social awareness events, charity fundraisers, etc. These events are separate from Monsoon Dance class recitals and events our students perform at. All of our proceeds go towards the support of the many non-profit organizations we are affiliated with. Contact us for your next event to perform Bollywood, Bhangra, Indian classical, and folk dances.

Interested in joining our team?

You don't have to be a professional dancer or a classically trained dance guru. All we need is for you to be committed to dance and the cause. If you are willing to donate a few hours of your time to dance, we will provide you with the training (Bollywood and other dance forms), motivation, and the opportunity to present yourself on stage, all in support of a great cause.
